can you kindly tell me if I tell DWP that I am away on holiday at a time a medical assessment is expected will they accept this and delay the medical assessment
I am going abroad to help my diabetes, with no doctors letter so I dont think this is relevant

Have you started the reassessment process yet?
If you haven't then it shouldn't be a problem as long as you tell the DWP, see my answer to your question about going abroad.
If you have started the process then you need to contact Maximus, to make them aware of the dates you will be unavailable. Maximus have no decision making capability so will refer your file back to the DWP if fail to attend while you are away.

In the ESA50 form they send you there is a box where you can say times you would be unavailable, so you can list the days you are away there. Don't think they ask for reasons for the unavailability.
