Timescale for ESA assessment decision was created by stephen siddiq
Can someone let me know how long it takes before one is notified of the decision, following an assessment (at the assessment I had a very positive response from the health professional, and he stated that he would be putting my forward for the support group. That was nearly eight weeks ago and I'm still waiting to hear anything).

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

We would normally expect ESA decisions to take a few weeks following the face to face assessment. You have waited rather longer than I would have expected, I think a call to DWP might be in order.

Could also email Maximus the website is online, also known as Centre for Health and Disability Assessments. If it is still with the assessors.
