Hi please could you advise if asking for a copy of the assessor report will make any difference to the decision for my pip claim.
I had my f2f on 17 August and I have rang Capita to be told they have completed their part and it has now been sent off to Dwp for a decision, apparently it was scanned onto system on 24th and it can take 3 weeks or more for a decision to be made, I have asked for a copy of the report but am concerned it may make a difference to the outcome.
Thank you

There are circumstances where it might make a difference, if you can show that the information in it is fundamentally flawed but this is usually difficult to do and the DWP Decision Maker will usually prefer the report to the claimants own evidence where there is a difference of opinion.

You won't know until you see the report.

Thank you, yes I understand that I will have to wait until I have the report to see what has been written but, I was just worried that because I have rang the dwp to see if a decision had been made yet and was told no that it was still at the decision stage, that me asking for a report would or could possibly make a difference to my award.

Requesting a copy of the report will have no effect, good or bad, on the eventual result.
