I haven't had the decision yet was created by Ema
Ive attended F2F assessment on 25/07 in Reding. I Haven't had the decision yet. I called DWP on 29/08/17 to ask for it & have been told that the decision has been made on 10/08/17 . It Was promised to be re-send again. I called them again on 04/09.- DWP said the same: ''we will resend you again''. I wanted to know the decision and they refused to give it to me by phone. LAst time the lady checked what i have received as money by them and she told me that my DLA was renewed ?!?!? What does it mean? Is that mean that i dont have PIP or...?!?!

If a Decision Letter has been issued, which is clearly the case even if not received, then the DWP should be able to tell the you the result over the phone.

The latest call suggests that a positive Decision has been made, but I don't think that you can make any assumptions about what award has been made.

I would call them again if you still don't receive a copy of the letter and if necessary ask for the matter to be escalated to a manager. This normally requires a call back.

Thank you Gordon! I called them now and they said that decision has been made today !!!! and the letter was sent straight way. I have been awarded standard daily living and enhanced mobility. First I would like to say big thank you and to forum's guidance. I have been following you advice since I started deal with it. Second i would like to make a little donation and pls tell me how to do it. But also I have several questions- 1/ Do you have any idea why i have been told twice that decision was made on 10/08 and today they said it was made TODAY? 2/ Also the money for DLA was stopped but on 18/08 was renewed again in the same amount ( I had for the last 6 yrs Higher Rate both component )? Also im expecting in the end of the year full knee replacement one by one plus PTSD, low hearing and lots of other health issues and I can't find the logic to awarded me lower rate for daily living. 3/ I Would be really thankful if You advise me what to do next- to ask for MR or to give it up. It is not only because of money. It is mainly because of feeling i have, that there is something wrong with the decision. I need to say that i have followed you instruction step by step and Ive caught the little chance to make my comments on the assessor questionnaire I requested and sent the original on the same day as you adviced me and it was received on time. 4/ And the last question is - shell I keep my motability car now or i will lose it? Thank you again!

Hi Ema,

I will try to answer your questions in order -

1 + 2 ) I'm afraid I have no idea why you were told a decision had been made, nor why your DLA stopped and started again. Many of the DLA call centre staff are poorly trained and it is not uncommon for them to give out incorrect information.

3) We cannot tell you whether or not to request and MR. I suggest you have another look at our PIP guide to try and see where and why you think you should have scored more points.
Do you have a copy of the assessor's report (DWP usually send them out on request)? This can help explain why you did not score as expected. The guide explains how to go about requesting an MR, if this is the path you decide to take.

4) As you were awarded Enhanced Mobility you will be able to keep your car.

Thank you Mrs Hurtyback!
Yes, I have made a copy of the assessor's report before i sent it with my comments on it. I'm just wondering does it worth the distress I have been having since February. Let see the letter first. If i need to go again thought this nightmare in next 2 months I will kill myself. Thank you again. I do want to donate some money for you work which you do for all of us. Pls tell me how to do it.

Thank you for your offer. I can't speak for Mrs H but if you really want to do something for us and you really don't need to, but if you do then I would ask you to make a donation to one of the charities that support children with illnesses or Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Thank you
