Pip renewal and ESA support all together

Had my pip renewal form sent now the ESA support form arrived today
My health is not great at the moment mind can't help if I don't get a letter from my gp and mental health consultant to help me fill in the form

I'm sorry you have been hit with the 'double whammy'! Please keep in mind the fact that the criteria for ESA and PIP are quite different, so don't fall into the trap of using exactly the same wording on each form and missing out information essential to your claim. We have guides for both benefits in the 'members only' section of the forum and I urge you to make good use of them both.

Whilst the submission date of ESA is fixed, DWP are usually happy to give an extra 2 weeks for the PIP form on request, this might be helpful.

It would be easier for us if you were to run separate topics for each benefit. If this is not possible for you, please will you ensure that you are very clear about which benefit is in question if you come back with further queries? Either way, we ask that you keep all information relating to the same benefit in one topic - you will find this easily in future if you bookmark or favourite it now and you will get notifications of replies as long as the 'subscribe' box is checked
