Can someone please tell me if offered a late mandatory reconsideration, do they stop your money whilst the process runs? Thanks

The decision will run until a new one is made. Therefore, if you were awarded WRAG you will be paid the corresponding amount. If your claim was denied you will not be paid anything.

You don't say which benefit this relates to - if it is ESA then your only option for money would be to claim JSA.

No it will remain in payment until a Decision is made on your MR.

If you are requesting a Late MR then you will also need to include your reasons for the request being late.

Thanks. I had my dla to pip transfer exactly one year ago. I recently made a complaint because i felt unfairly treated by the assessor. She didn't record exactly what i said and at times, simply lied resulting in a downgraded award. I complained and stated i was not asking for a mandatory reconsideration and that i just wanted them to know how ill they had made me leading to a suicide attempt. Today i received a letter offering a late mandatory reconsideration - not my choice, though, as was worried about losing my current award.

Then it is up to you whether ask for an MR or not, but you will have problems providing new evidence if you think that you need it given the time since the Decision was made.

Thanks, but you misunderstand, i haven't asked for a mr, they are doing it without my consent.
