The guides reflect the currently implemented legislation.
What discrepancies are there with the form?
I've done a quick check and the only differences are cosmetic. Remember this is just a piece of paper with words on it, it cannot be treated as providing an accurate definition of the criteria against which your brother is being assessed.

Sorry going on what brother is telling me over the phone, he states they are now asking about prison, armed forces etc and as he had dyslexia he is finding it very different to match the form to the guides.

OK there are thee extra questions
Have you been in hospital for over 28 days in the last 12 months?
Have you served in HM Forces?
Have you been released from prison in the last 6 months?
Each is followed by a Yes/No tick box. If he ticks "No" then he should go on to the next question. If he needs to tick "Yes" then there are some additional questions about the dates and details.
You can see the form on the following link.
www.gov.uk/government/publications/capab...r-work-questionnaire
If you need to advise him on what to include.
I've notified the office of the discrepancy. The remaining questions should be the same.

If the claimant was discharged due to medical reasons then the DWP can access their HM Forces records to use for the assessment.
