Thank you Gordon for putting me right. Currently rereading it again and probably again. I think I should leave this now until the morning - feeling utterly drained. Goodnight all.

Hi Gordon and all.
Excellent news to report. My daughter has undergone a paper based reassessment and has been awarded Support Group - "No further assessments required" - yes "No further assessments required" - according to the DWP over the phone - but waiting for written confirmation which is in the post apparently.

So, a big thank you to yourself and the B&W site and the people who wrote the guides too.

Your guidance and advice is very much appreciated. So, I can now go and concentrate on caring for my daughter without worrying when the next ESA50 will hit the doormat - common sense prevailing dare I say. The last assessment had put everything on hold but in the end it has come good.

I will keep you posted regarding the wording of the award letter as I know it will be of interest to many claimants with life-long conditions not expected to get better, i.e.- incurable debilitating illnesses and conditions - as well as your good selves standing up for them.

I would like to wish all families with children and young people with Special Needs all the best in their own dealings with government departmental systems - including the DWP of course. If I can be of any assistance to anybody else going through the ESA process, bases on my own lived experience, then I would be more than happy to answer questions.

Keep up the good work Gordon. Hope you're feeling better by the way. All the best:

Buster

That is wonderful news, you are the first person to report no requirement for future assessment on the forum, well done.
