glad to hear that you have received an award that you can be relatively happy with, however, if you change you mind then you can challenge the Decision up to 13 months after the Decision providing your reasons for doing so outside of the normal times are accepted.

I have received Standard rate and a letter. The letter when reading the decision appears to be a previous decision in the text where I was not eligble but the points given account to standard rate and I will be reviewed in after 2020. Is it worth making a fuss about these discrepancies and do I need to contact the tribunal service?

I'm afraid there is no "making a fuss", you can either accept the award or accept it and carry on to appeal!

If you don't intend to pursue the appeal the I would contact the Tribunal Service to make sure that he appeal has been cancelled.

Thanks Gordon, its just you hear of DWP taking people to court about overpayments even when it is their mistake. Is it worth querying the letter pointing out the possible mistakes?

As I said there really is no talking to the DWP about this, if you think that there are still issues then these are things to raise with your appeal, the DWP will then receive a copy.

Having made an improved award I would be very surprised if they re-visited the Decision more than a week before any appeal hearing. Of course this is dependant on your continuing with the appeal.

Gordon.

Having got a PIP award and ESA Support Group (Contribution based) is there anything else I can claim. I have looked at Council Tax help but was told by council as I had savings over 16k I wasn't eligible?
