Make sure that you tell your GP about your problems, they can only provide you with the correct help if they have a complete picture of your problems.

This review will result in a new Decision and hopefully award which will replace your current one, so with luck you will not be assessed for several years.

My pip mid term interview is just over a week away.

I have a shrink session letter I want to send/fax them, how do I go about doing this?

Also when I got pip I got a letter about another benefit, I think it involved living alone or having someone too care for you.

I filled it in and sent it back.

Should I have individual paperwork for this benefit or is it just lumped in with the pip payment?

Any idea on what it is called?

It sounds like they are talking about the Severe Disability Premium, if you are eligible; you need to live alone or be considered as doing so and no one must be claiming Carers Allowance, then the SD Premium will be paid as part of any Income Related benefit such as ESA(IR) or Income Support, etc.

This process is clearly upsetting you so I think you should get assistance from your GP to help you manage your concerns.

I printed the thread out but the Doctor would not read it.

I have to see her tomorrow, so I will 'dethread' [just a list] it and try again.

I asked for a list of the meds I'm on and as she is a locum she did not know how to do that so she printed out a prescription and gave me the bit [white] you have left when you 'cash' the green bit.

Is this good enough?

She now seems to think I'm suffering from anaxity.

Should/can I get her to list what she has diagonalised.

I get the impression been a young locum she would rather have nothing to do with the pip experience.

I think there is a standard printout that the GP should be able to do, five or six pages and it's free.

Other than that, think about requesting a copy of your medical records, this should have any letters that your Consultants, etc. have written to your GP Practice.

Requesting your medical records

Charging for medical records

I see they are supposed to have all the paper work. This I believe includes PIP1 as well as PIP 2, if i 'test' them and they have not can I ask them to read it.

As I have a memory a goldfish would be ashamed of can I take my paperwork for reference?

What should I say about a shrink say I was not depressed (wrong) but they did not tell me for 2 years as they did not send any letters till I asked them for some for this PIP 2 experience!??
