DLA to PIP from high rate mobility to nothing

On DLA I was getting middle rate care and full mobility. Despite using your guides PIP has decided to award me stàndard care and nothing on mobility. I have already asked for a mandatory reconsideration but I am so upset. They also ignored all my mental health issues despite the assessor seeing signs of them at the assessment. They have for some reason decided I can walk 50 to 200 meters when some days I can barely make it to the bathroom from my bedroom.
Help me. What do I do?

Have you requested a copy of the assessment report, if not then contact the DWP office dealing with your claim. The report will help you to understand how the DM came to their Decision.

At the moment all I can suggest is that you go back to basics and make sure that you have shown that you meet the criteria to score the points for a higher award, remember that all of the PIP activities have to be completed reliably and on the majority of days, so if you cannot do this then make sure that you have explained this in your PIP2.

As to the Mobility specifically, if you have indicated variance in your walking then make sure that you have explained exactly how you are effected and for how long. Also, did you talk about shopping or hospital visits? The DM may have put particular weight on any trips out that you make.

I asked for a copy over the phone. The assessor only saw me walk a couple of feet. I am seeing CAB on Thursday and putting the mandatory reconsideration request and assessors report in writing. I told them I was in constant pain and that when I did go out to see my counsellor it was agony and took me at least a day or two to get pain levels down to normal which is still a 6 to 7 on s pain chart. I also tpld them that i need someone with me as i am always in danger of my back locking and my leg giving way resulting in a fall.
