Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Our Guides for ESA, PIP and DLA, claims, appeals, and related subjects are available from the Members Only Guides link in the sidebar on the left of the page. Select the topic you are interested in from the new page that opens.

You can also access the ESA guides from the following link

The map cannot be displayed, you haven't specified a location yet.
Hi there I have had a esa50 reassessment form sent to me. Have completed and filled in and today find out that my go has an e113 form to complete. I have severe and chronic lumbar arthritis along with arthritis in the neck as well as anxiety and depression. I never see the same Dr and am worried about this form being filled in and also as to why the dwp have requested it. Would it be worth me trying to get appt to see Dr to discuss?? Drs NEVER seem to have much time to discuss anything when I am there.

Hi Ann,

I have merged your query withy the previous one relating to your ESA as we ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one place. It certainly makes things easier for us and I hope it will help you too :)

The assessors contact the claimant's GP in around 25% of cases. Sadly, GPs don't always send them back. The ESA113 form doesn't ask for a lot of information - but it can mean the difference between the claimant being required to have a face2face assessment or not.

It would certainly be worth speaking to your GP before they complete this form. I know that appointments can be very difficult to get but they might be willing to do this over the phone.

Please do not post your question multiple times as it just means that it takes moderators longer to get through the messages. I see that Gordon and I have both spent time answering your query about this.
