Two weeks ago we accompanied an autistic PIP claimant with their medical review. In order to record proceedings, we bought two old-fashioned audio tape cassette deck players, because you have to hand over one tape at the end. The interviewer said our tapes were not sealed and refused permission to record.

None of the Assessment Providers have stipulated that new tapes are required, however, the assessor has final say on whether they allow the recording on the day or not.
