Limpy Lady's question/s

My husband has just received a pip renewal form 12 months ahead of award finish date, I am concerned for him as the form is worded differently (i.e.) Eating and drinking - easier / harder / No change, on most of the questions they want a tick in one of those boxes, as my husbands health has remained the same (no change) I am concerned that they will see that as being a good thing to the point that they stop his pip, whilst I agree that his health not deteriating is good he still has many health issues that affect his day to day ability. Is there any advice you can give me please feeling very anxious.

Hi LL and welcome back to the forum.

I have moved your query to it's own topic rather than tagging on to the end of someone else's topic that is over 1 year old.

It is DWP practice to commence the reassessment process a full year before the award is due to end.

The PIP guide explains how to fill in this newer, short, form.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
