Reconsideration Confusion was created by DC
hi I recently requested an appeal form by telephone & was promised a call back within 24 hours. Surprisingly this did not happen and 2 weeks later I received a mandatory reconsideration notice which is not what I requested, I have now found and completed an online appeal form with a complaint to my many letters and calls that go unanswered. I get letters from about 4 or 5 diferent offices allover the UK & no one seems to communicate,. I have been advised to lodge an official complaint along with my appeal. Can matters get worse if I lose the appeal or will the mandatory recon just be implemented??

I've moved your post to it's own topic, we ask members not to post their questions in other member's topics as it can cause confusion and lead to the wrong advice being taken or given.

The appeal re-makes the original Decision just like the MR but being a later Decision will superseded the MR one. If it is a negative Decision in comparison to the MR then you should be warned by the Judge at your hearing so that you can withdraw your appeal.
