Hello,
just wanted to give a brief overview how it went.

I was on higher mobility and lower care before I had to apply for PiP
I must admit, the lady from Atos was ... weird. I did not trust her an inch. Apparently she had been a former nurse up here at the hospital. Ah well...
She did not know about my medical condition, only heard of the word lipedema but that was about it. Sometimes she was very much screaming in my face, and sometimes she spoke so low that I could hardly understand her.

I then got my decision letter from the DWP and they took my higher mobility rate away. So I wrote a letter for them to reconsider. they did not.
I then took my paperwork to the CAB to file for an appeal. I also spoke to my GP who said to me that the DWP had not spoken to her. Yet they are referring to doctor's notes etc.

The day of the appeal came and the lady from the CAB and her colleage were taken in first of all to speak with the judge. He urged them to reconsider as it could be that they might judge and take it all away for me.

As my condition had worsened, we decided to drop the appeal and file for change of circumstances.

When I went to the CAB to fill in the updated paperwork, I had been told, that the main reason for the judge to give a warning was that they had NO evidence or anything about my diagnosis . So they only could judge on what I had written. They did not even knowwhat I was suffering from, they had no evidence from the GB no nothing!!!

I spoke to my GP and he confirmed that there was nothing on file that the DWP had aver been in touch requesting information.

I am now waiting for the next assessment and I dread the day, seriously.
