Interesting news about the secret PIP interview recording. I am glad the tribunal took the evidence into consideration despite the DWP's 'squeals of protest'. I can just imagine...
Anyway, you asked members to feed back to you on their own experiences with secretly recording the interviews.
I did indeed secretly record my daughter's DLA-to-PIP interview, also on my mobile phone.
The assessor did lie on the report about things we'd said, and invented things that my daughter had been able to do when in fact she had refused point-blank to perform a certain action because of pain.
However, my daughter was awarded the same amount of money that she'd been on for her DLA award, so rather than risk losing out, we simply accepted the result and did not contest it. We may have lost out slightly, but for us it wasn't worth the gamble. But I still have a recording of that interview locked away safely
