DLA to PIP rollout was created by SandR
Hello
I was told today (by a friend) that all claimants being transferred from DLA to PIP should have been be invited to make their claim by end of Oct 2017. I have not heard anything, but I am sure that I read somewhere on B&W that the DWP are a long way behind schedule. Is this true? as I am worried that I might have missed a letter from the DWP.

The process is now scheduled to end next year, but even this date sounds wildly optimistic.

Thank you Gordon

I thought that this was the case but when my friend told me this yesterday my mind went into overdrive.

A local newspaper has written an article stating that all DLA to PIP invites should be completed by May 2018. Is this now the case?

Thank you

That date has already been superseded by the DWP, as I said in my previous reply they are currently quoting 2019.

Thank you for your prompt response, Gordon. I'm not at all surprised to see that you say the date has already been extended.

The newspaper was providing info on a range of benefits and the dates in 2018 when they either come into force or will be completed.
