V urgent. DLA -PIP assessment last Thurs
See some decisions are getting made v quickly within 2 weeks?
***Your site says if get a short award (see info below) to think v carefully re asking for a reconsideration
***So anything I submit should try toget to them asap.

Assessment was V V long and awful
*Someone i didnt know and had never been to a PIP assessment came with me/ tried to hand in up to date medical letters I had
Reception wouldn't take them and said hand them in at assessment. This didn't happen
Assessor was running v late and clearly was happy to cancel as was told they were v delayed. I got assessed by a different assesdor than allocated to
I wasn't well..she offered to stop interview to do paper based assessment q early in and later too
Didn't know what to do. On advice of novice support worker who asked assessor what would be best outcome i struggled through
Bacame v distressed
It was long and she asked couple times if I wanted to stop
I feel I messed up answers to questions
She said I wd probably get award but would need to come back for assessment in 2/3 yrs. I feel I need a lonher award

I am since feeling V depressed and borderline suicidal and unabe to function. I missed a funeral to go to assessment..

]**I am worried that they will make a short award
And that it will be recorded that I got thro medical and none of letters talk about prognosis.

**i saw my named GP this a.m again
She updated her letter about how I am post medical
She has said she thinks I am unlikely to work again tho this is for PIP so work not relevant?
Rather than saying that my condition is unlikely to imove? Should I wait to go back and see her to correct that and submit?
(I have severe cfs and longstanding depresdion with a few other issues and am a bit over 50)
My gp is new to me and only just qualified &she was in a rush.

Also secondary issue is about asking dwp to factor in the effect it has had on me re future face to face assessments ( i dont ever want home ones for reasons of privacy). Would like to be exempted
The gp letter refers to me feelin suicidal
My life is falling apart as have housing issues and little support and am alone

PIP centre not far from me but no point taking there?
Worried how it will get taken if try take medical letters in that I do have on my own to PIP assessment centre if u say yes

Nurse assessor said I should hear within 3 wks

My bens advisor i cant get hold of till Fri probably so need to decide now

If post direct to DWP it won't reach there and get on file till i guess Mon 6th Nov by time. I hope to post today by 5.30
Or do i wait till Wed 1 November pm. (which will be a week after my medical?)

Please could you advise
The idea of having to go through this in 2 years again is giving me terrible panic attacks and have not functioned since Thursday

Am in ESA support group last assessed Feb 2016
Last dla award was 3yrs mid rate care/low rate mob
Told by a benefits advisor that I should hopefully get enhanced rate 4 both thgs in PIP
Can't face appeal and reconsideration process

Grateful for advice please
Thanks

OK so I think you are asking whether to send some information that was no accepted at the assessment to the DWP and when to do it?

The answer is as soon as possible. Send it to the DWP office dealing with your claim, the address should be on any letter that you have had from the DWP about your PIP. Mark it for the attention of the Decision Maker. Include a covering letter explaining what you are sending and why. Each page needs to have your National Insurance Number and full name on it.

Your second question appears to be about a future assessment. A decision on whether a F2F is required the next time you are assessed will primarily depend on the information available to the Assessment Provider. They will take into account your conditions and how they effect you, but if they don't have enough information then they may be forced to see you.
