PIP review - walking through pain was created by Eggcustard
Hi,

I am completing my PIP review and I can remember reading a while ago something about walking through pain but I can't remember the detail. Can anyone help please?

I have low rate mobility which was reduced from higher rate at review. I am now up for review again and my main reason that I can't walk is pain,

Thanks.

You are not required to complete any of the PIP activities pain free, but any pain that limits your ability to complete an activity should be taken into account.

Specifically for the Moving Around activity, if you are in severe pain, this is not defined, but still able to walk despite this then you can argue that you are not able to walk to a necessary standard and that any distance you can walk in these circumstances should be disregarded.
