Pip claim

Hi, just like to tell my PIP horror story so far.Been on DLA low rate care high rate mobility.Now going through PIP claim process. Was offered low rate daily care but totally stripped of all my mobility help. When I received the decision makers letter I was so shocked by the untruths it contained I actually thought that they had mixed up my claim form with someone else's. The decision makers comments weren't just inaccurate it just feels like they are being dishonest.
For example the letter stated that I didn't suffer with cognitive difficulties however that is not what I stated on the claim form. Also they said that I didn't appear tense or anxious at the interview however the assessor offered to stop the interview because she could see I was so distressed. Also the decision maker states that I didn't need prompting again this was not the truth.
The statement was made that I was observed walking for 30 metre's but with no account of the after effects. However I have made the statement on the claim form that I cannot walk any distance at all without struggling.
However what has concerned me most of all is that they said I could prepare and cook a simple meal but I made it absolutely clear on the claim form more than once that I couldn't. This was really concerning. Unbelievable isn't it.
The more people that come forward and expose this the more chance that we have of getting something done about it. I am currently going through a mandatory reconsideration. Will update. Regards Mr Richard Burton.
