Decision was created by Roxy raver
Hi I've received the DLA to PIP forms and completed and returned recorded delivery they received them on 6th September can you advise on the length of time before I will receive a decision I'm too scared to call them . Or I am guessing that each claim there is no given time for a decision?
Previously I had a life award middle care and high mobility can you advise if they take into account your previous award and if they look at your medical history ect from the DLA forms I would have submitted over the years.
Many thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Have you been told that you don't need a face to face assessment?
If you haven't then this would be the next stage. We don't have up to date information but a couple of months ago PIP assessments were taking 12-16 weeks.
I would suggest that you contact IAS (ATOS) or Capita for an update.
