Thanks, how can I risk a tribunal, part of the unfairness of a tribunal is that you can lose everything,my local MP thinks 50% success rate is good, not realising this is conclusive proof that at least 50% of original decisions are wrong,if you have illness like Cfs/Me,it's really hard getting justice,as a tax and NI payer for 22 years it hurts even more.
We have had the ppi scandal, now we've got the pip scandal,if there is an inquiry in the future, they will have to pay claimant's retrospectively.
Really we should be shouting this from the rooftops, the public don't understand what's happening, most people would be shocked,if they knew the truth.the problem is most disabled people don't have the strength to fight, that's why we are such an easy target
Regards Richard.

A Tribunal panel is required to warn the claimant if they are thinking of reducing or removing an existing award so that the claimant can withdraw the appeal.

How would that work Gordon, half way through a tribunal would they say we are thinking of taking away your benefit,do you want to withdraw,or would it be based on written submissions before the tribunal starts, and they would warn me I could lose.seems a bit of a risk to me.we are lucky in the sense that our parents have agreed to help us financially,to make up some of what has been taken away from us,as they have stripped me of all my mobility help..

If there is an issue then the Judge will issue a warning at the start of the hearing and then adjourn it to allow you to get trained advice.

Thanks,at the moment it's all irrelevant as I'm currently too weak to fight,I've just found it all a totally dehumanising process, Richard.

You can make a Late appeal up to 13 months after the Decision but will have to explain why the request was not made within the normal one month.
