On Autistic spectrum but not documented-no CPN

In January 2015 I went for an autism assessment and while the assessor said I had autistic traits, it is not documented anywhere on my medical records as the assessor also thought I had ADHD so I went for ADHD assessment and was invited back to see ADHD consultant, but I was dependent on illicit drugs and as i wanted to go sober, I cancelled the appoinntment and was then told that the ADHD clinic no longer funded the area I live in and to reapply for funding for a fresh ADHD assessment when drug free.
I am still not drug free, but as I have autistic traits, and am expecting to be assessed for PIP (currently on DLA) and I am being discharged from mental health services, I am concerned that there will be no evidence to say I have autistic traits and therefore no PIP and vulnerable adult status lost.
Can you suggest what I should do please?

If it really isn't documented then I don't think you will be able to rely on the diagnosis when you are assessed for PIP, all I can suggest is you speak to your GP about the situation.

Hi Thanks Gordon I will get in touch with my GP. It wasnt on my SAR request. Maybe I might try contacting the autism centre as well.

An autism diagnosis will be formal and specific (eg. 'ASD', 'Aspergers' etc); referencing ICD-10 or DSM-V. I am not a Dr, but the use of the term 'traits' suggests you were deemed to have some but not all of the features. Regardless, one would expect the service who did the assessment to have produced a report of the findings, copied back to the GP who referred you.
