HBS

Try any charities that support your conditions they may have a local group, also, your GP surgery should have a list of voluntary organisations in your area.

Has your claim for JSA been accepted? If it has, when is your first payment? As soon as you have been paid you can present the Fit Note.

Hi Gordon, J2E (Journey to Employment) seems to be a range of local job clubs to help support people with all kinds of disabilities who need assistance. HopefButScared might be able to find if there is a local one.
Here is a leaflet with details:<spectrumcil.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/201...er-2017-Spectrum.pdf>
Hope this is useful.

I'm still on ESA, but been moved to the WRAG. I don't want to talk to anyone for any reason and will not cope with being forced to interact with the bloody job centre people. I cannot cope with a job. I just want to be left the fuck alone. A peer led job club - what the hell good is that for a misanthrope? I just want to be left alone.

Sorry I should have checked your previous posts as I confused you with another member.

You may not be able to avoid talking to these people, especially if they make the meetings a mandatory activity, as you risk your benefit being sanctioned if you do not.

Hello again,

Apologies for last week's hysteria. I'm much calmer now.

Latest update follows:

I was put in touch with someone familiar with disability and equality legislation, who wrote a letter strident enough to elicit an emailed apology from the DWP and an undertaking to contact me in future by post and email only.

I turned up as requested on 30th November. Was kept waiting for a few mins then someone came to give me a letter with my next appointment date. They've chosen to harass me again in January, so I'm free of them for the rest of the year, thankfully.

I've also received an unsigned mildly threatening form letter advising that my behaviour will be monitored and to expect to be subject to legal action if I kick off again.

I have the impression that there's now a note on my records that I have access to legal assistance, which is a double edged sword. I don't want to engage in a war of words with anyone, really...

The letter is more likely to be the result of the aggressive behaviour that you mentioned in a previous post.
