Hello I am on esa support for long tome b4 that the old I B am I due any monies back from what I hear on the bbc that some people left short do I phone the dwp or they will contact me . Or would I be opening a hornet nest don't want up set what I have thanks in advance

Our understanding is that the DWP are contacting the claimants who are effected, we have already had some members tell us this has happened. I would leave it for a few weeks and if you have not heard contact the DWP office dealing with your claim.
This is a financial assessment of your situation not a reassessment of your claim so there is no reason that for a negative result.
