Hi i had my second pip medical in 10 months 3 weeks ago. I provided prood of further conditions and issues i was having and one of the main things was irrational thoughts and the worst anxiety ive ever had in my life. Admittedly ive phoned regularly. Initially to see they had everything but then to see if i could get any update. This morning the brown envelope landed and i got myself into such a state i nearly called an ambulance. Luckily my husband came home in the middle of this attack and made sure id taken my betablockers. I calmed down enough to open the letter only to burst into tears as all it said was we have everything to make our decision. Id got myself into an awful state and since have not stopped crying. Is this standard procedure as ive never had before and do they not take into consideration what effect this could have on someone or am i overreacting like my husband says? I really want to call them and explain what this has done but my husband thinks calling will do nothing but put me to the bottom of the pile. Any advise or help would be gratefully received. Please don't worry about this letter, despite the brown envelope, this is a standard letter that the DWP send when they have received the assessment report. I would expect a Decision letter in another two weeks or perhaps a little longer.

Thank you gordon for taking the time to reply. It feels like forever waiting until tomorrow let alone 2 plus weeks. I feel stupid for over reacting but my mum had a heart attack september and im constantly having irrational thoughts. They are irrational and i know that its just difficult to control them. Fingers crossed its good news and before Christmas. Thanks once again gordon xxx
