Hi,
Had my assessment on 29 November, finally after it being cancelled twice. Just wondered how long it might be before DWP write to me - guess it will be after Christmas now? My condition hasn't changed but I have a further additional problem which the assessor spent a lot of time on, and I'm wondering if that's going to delay things. I provided plenty of evidence for each relevant point I wanted to be considered for and I included the Courts Decision from my tribunal two years ago.

We normally expect a Decision in 2-4 weeks, so you may still scrape in before Xmas but it more likely that it will now be the New Year.

Was checking my bank this morning before going shopping and very relieved to see that DWP have made a very nice payment, even though I have hadn't the letter yet. My only concern is that they may have swopped me from difficulties with planning journeys to physical mobility as I am temporarily on crutches but previously I was getting points for planning journeys. If they have swopped one for the other, I will have to challenge it now rather than wait?

Phone the DWP they should be able to tell you the Decision if a payment has been made, although they may not know the detail of it.

I would wait and see the points you have been awarded before making any decisions on challenging the Decision, it's the award that matters not how it has been made.
