When to challenge PIP report

Quick update. Unfortunately the decision maker upheld the recommendations of the medical assessor and I have been awarded std rate for both components. With severely limited mobility I feel I should definitely be awarded enhanced for that part. So now I will have to start the MR. Wish me luck!

I was amazed to receive my mandatory reconsideration notice today, only two weeks after sending it in.
The great news is that they have upgraded my mobility needs to enhanced! I am delighted. Unfortunately they have still awarded standard rate for daily living and the award is still only for two years. Whilst I disagree with their decision, as I’m sure I should receive enhanced and, unless there is a miracle, there is zero chance of improvement in my functional abilities, I have decided not to take the matter further. My health and quality of life is so poor I just can’t put myself through more stress. The two year award basically means I will re-assessed in a year, so I will be hoping that next time I receive the level of award I feel is correct.
