I have my face to face with Atos on the 4th of Jan.

Anyone have any tips or advice for me from their own face to face assessments?

I am a nervous wreck thinking about it all.

My best advice is to have a look at the PIP Claim guide there is a section that covers the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

Best of luck.

So had my assessment today. Was pretty tough going, being outside and being quizzed.

Not sure I got everything across properly. I did secretly record the meeting just incase.

However, they only had half of my supporting docs! Good job I checked what they had, they took photocopys of the rest of the evidence that was missing from my claim and had not been scanned at the dwp and sent over.

My question is what do I do about this? The assessor assured me that it was fine and she would review the additional info. But should I contact the dwp if they are the ones making the assessment?

Thanks for any advice. I'll update with my progress.

Not sure what happened to my reply.

Had my assessment, no trick questions it seemed straight forward.

However the assessor didn't have all the supporting docs I provided to the dla.

Now I gave them all the missing ones and they took copies. What I'm concerned about is the dla not having all my supporting docs?
What do I do about that?

The assessor assured me she would read all the extra ones that were missing but I'm worried that she won't and my claim impacted?

I would contact the DWP office dealing with your claim, they should be able to confirm what documents they have.

Yep did that they couldn't explain why the assessor couldn't see parts of my file. They said it wasn't possible.

Double checked that the dla had all the right docs. So will now have to wait and see what comes through the post. Will update on here once my answer comes through. Dreading that brown envelope.

They said I couldn't request a copy of the assessor report until the dla had made a decision, is that correct?
