Hi
I was awarded PIP in October 2015 for 3 years,
I have received a review pack today to be returned by end of January.
I wasn't expecting to hear from PIP just yet.
Is this just an interim check up or am I reapllying?
The form asks questions like are you better/worse or same as 2015.
Has anyone else gone through this that could advise please?
Thanks

Almost all PIP claims are reassessed a year early so yours is actually late.

Although the form is different, you have received the Review form, this is a full review of your claim and will determine whether it is extended beyond it's current end date.

Some of the criteria against which you will be assessed has changed since you were last assessed, Managing Therapy and Going Out, the current PIP Claim guide has details of the changes. It also has a section that covers completing the AR1 Review form which as you can see is different from the PIP2 form you completed last time.

If you have any questions, then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Thank you for getting back to me.
The form is a lot shorter than the first one which threw me.
Do I need to go into as much detail as the original or just answer one of the 3 options?
Thanks again

There are advantages and disadvantages to both approaches, the PIP Claim guide explains your options.
