Thank you Judy I will be keeping the forum up to speed on it , I consider e mailing the shadow minister for DWP and they can take it to Mr Corbyn to read out at P M Q s , , what's the point of a costly Tribunal Hearing when the appellant wins justifiable points after a hurried and fabricated assessment which resulted in low scores , only for DWP to decide they want the "Statement of Reasons" (SoR) from DWP ,Dwp had sent a representative to the hearing and she was not the nicest of persons I have ever met in my advancing years , she was very "Terse" when allowed her say at the end , but I gave the truth throughout and in my summing up after she had her say , what can be more fairer than a Judge, Doctor and Independent Disability Representative on the Panel who decided an award of benefit , My guess is the DWP Representative being a very sore loser and a woman of bitter personality to sick ill and disabled. I have ideas if they drag this on ( as they do) The Public Law Project might be interested in following up my case .

Just an additional thought on this. The appeal to the upper tribunal has to be on a point of law and it’s an appeal against the reasoning of the first tribunal panel. So although it’s your money at stake, you aren’t really involved in the argument now. It’s the tribunal that have to defend their interpretation of your case, rather than you having to make your case again. It would be interesting to know how this is handled and how much the original claimant is kept informed, gets the chance to attend any hearing etc.

The letter from DWP states they are applying to HMCTS for a Statement of Reasons (SoR) Gordon has pointed out it appears they are looking for / at errors in law ,, I have read nice things about the Shadow Secretary of DWP Debbie Abrahams and am seriously thinking of e'mailing her with my experience of a claimants journey my journey and the hurried and fabricated PIP assessment (I wasnt allowed to ask Questions even though the DWP PIP guides says you are ) through to each subsequent Decision Maker just rubber stamping over the previous DM . I know she can't get involved buy I think it would be reasonable to explain the situation to her (Debbie Abrahams ) what harm can come of it ? I think the DWP need to be further exposed to the opposition Government at the way the treat sick ill disabled and dying people .

Had a letter from DWP saying they were paying the award as per the back dated date of the Tribunal Hearing and it has been paid . Didn't hear anymore from them about their request to HMCTS so I assume it's done and dusted now , that's a sigh of relief with one stressful situation.

That's terrific news, hopefully you will have the money in a week or two at most.
