hi Gorden
well I have a f2f on Monday and am terrified of the assassin as they are being called here in northern Ireland lol,
after the assessment how long should i leave it before asking for the report?.

i am not holding out much hope to be honest and if it is unsuccessful do i request a MR

I am prepared to fight this as i have the problems as listed on my pip2 form and my GP is in support of me getting it, although i know that does not hold much with the assessors.

My problem is i am not great with strangers and putting my case forward and i will be a nervous wreck by the time they get here.

So wish me luck and no doubt i shall be back here looking for more of your advice.

thanks

Best of luck.

The PIP Claim guide explains the assessment and has a list of questions that you are likely to be asked.

N Ireland claimants are not being provided with the assessment report until a decision has been made. I have asked 3 times for my son's but they have refused and said it is not issued until after the decision has been made.

How did it go? Good luck if they have not been yet. Mine was also meant to be today, but they phoned and cancelled just before they were due.

Hi Bruce,
it seemed to go ok, the assessor seemed nice enough but that's no guarantee. They were very quick I think about 35 mins so don't know if that's a positive sign or not.

Sorry to hear yours was cancelled it is stressful enough with out that happening,
Best of luck with your next appointment
