Pip success for daughter with seizures

Hi
I would just like to say a big thank you for all of your help. My daughter has reflex anoxic seizures and has just been transferred from dla to pip. After spending hours reading your guides and asking for help on the forum we sent the form and had the f2f assessment I was not expecting success, my daughter had not been to the hospital for 11 years as we’ve learned how to manage the seizures and I had no additional evidence only the form we filled in. I was shocked when she was awarded enhanced mobility as I wasn’t expecting that but even more shocked that she had only received 4 points for supervision whilst cooking and nothing else, therefore she did not qualify for the care component. After a lot of consideration we decided to ask for a mandatory reconsideration as we felt her supervision needs whilst bathing and eating and the fact that she becomes incontinent during seizures had been ignored. After 8 weeks and no response we were about to chase it up when we received a brown envelope today. She has been awarded 2 points for supervision whilst bathing and 2 points for help with managing toilet needs. Still no points for supervision for taking nutrition which I find strange but to argue that pint would not benefit her in anyway so she is happy to leave it there. She has now been awarded standard care and enhanced mobility for 3 years.
I’m telling our story as I found other people’s experiences very helpful while we were going through the process and to say a big thank you as we wouldn’t have got this result or had the confidence to fight for what she is entitled to without the help from this forum.
Thanks again
