Are ESA claims being reassessed by phone?

Thanks for replying, your comment is much appreciated. Can you tell me what questions the DWP asked you after they had identified themselves? Any information you can give me will help provide some indication of what I can expect during this phone call - omitting any personal information about yourself of course.

Unfortunately I cannot remember what the call was about as it was a few years ago, but it was not a benefit check or compliance call. I just felt so pleased that I had be able to get them to confirm who they were, as like most people i am usually reduced to a bumbling idiot by them. I am over cautious as the Tribunal Service, several months prior to this phone call, had sent all my appeal papers to someone else, so all my personal details could be any and everywhere. I still await identity theft. Sorry I can't be of anymore help to you but good luck

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner but I've been in a back-and-forth situation phoning ESA and finding myself getting deeper in the mire with them. I just want to say thank you for the help you've given me, I know it isn't easy reliving the enormous stress involved in dealing with the DWP, but at least I had some idea of what to expect before they called me, and that alone allowed me to control the fear and will hopefully lead me towards finding a solution.
