On the SSC1 for on page 5 I I ticked dad has a diability and wrote he's profoundly deaf and would need a loop system and a speech to text reporter (SSTR) in the section your needs. He cannot sign so I ticked no for an interpreter but now I'm getting confglicting information regarding this. Some people are saying SSTR is classed as an interpreter and I should have ticked yes and put it in that section. The form has been sent. What can I do about that now?

Wait until the appeal is accepted by the Tribunal Service and then give them a call, like you I don't think this comes under the heading of an interpreter, but they can sort it out for you.
