Hello netcoaching,

You can go onto the Gov website and obtain a pension forecast. It shows the contributions you've made towards your state pension and it will also give you details of the date you can expect to receive it.

Unless you already have it set up do not bother, I have just wasted 2 hours trying to do it with all the different ways, but to no avail. Says tis already set up, but I have never done so, no way of checking no way of dealing with it. Decide best to leave it and wait til the govt send you your pension when it is due, mine already 6 yrs away The site does say that pension dates are under review so tis probably another few yrs later again. As a female we already got shafted so whats a few more yrs to them.

PCM

I had no problems requesting a forecast last year, only took about 10 minutes.

Thanks. You were rather lucky, lots have had a real problem with the new system now having to have a clearance first.Cannot set it up with just a passport with some of the clearance companies listed you need a driving licence too. Barclays cancel the process at the end if no driving licence. Try the postoffice clearance as this it seems is the easiest.

You can just go online and it will tell you the year you receive pension, but not a full forecast, you do need to do all the clearance etc for that.

A new review of dates is due for pension, which means probably a move on of a couple of years tiered again. Once again women of a certain age are to be targeted from all accounts.
