Pip award review was created by Libby
Hi my award for enhanced daily living and enhanced Mobility award doesn't end until January 39th 2019
But I have received a form today called pip award review and I have to fill it in and send it back by the 22nd February !! , It's not a renewal claim so I'm really worried and confused as to what exactly this form is for ? Because my husband who is my carer rang dwp and was told it's mandatory to fill it in as if I don't I can get my payment s stopped , but didn't explain why i have to do this when I will have to be reassessed for a new award later in the year anyway ??? ,Has anyone else had this form as I don't understand what the purpose of it is ?

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I'm afraid nearly all PIP Claims are reassessed a year in advance of the award ending.

From your post it sounds as if you have received an AR1 Review form, this is a simpler version of the PIP2 but don't think that this means that you do not have complete in detail where necessary.

Our PIP Claim guide covers completing the AR1 form and the issues that it raises.

Hi I have looked can you tell me if the guidelines are correct for pip 1043 form that I have received ? As the firm I have had is a pip review form asking if my award is still correct ,it's not a renewal claim ,so I'm really confused if I am looking at the right guidelines ? Ty He form asks if anything has changed since I received my award with all the same and has boxes to tick at the top of each question ,so I'm not sure if I'm looking at the correct guidelines ? Could someone please advise me ?

Thankyou Gordon . I only asked because my form says it's a pip 1043 , doesn't have anything other than that on it so that's were I got confused . I think it's because I scored 4points for mh on going out and 10 on moving around on my last award ,that considering the news about the mobility issue relating to mental health ,I think that is why I have received this award review ,out of the blue . Thankyou for your help and reply to my query .

Your receiving this form has nothing to do with the changes that have been happening with PIP, as previously said, the DWP reassess the vast majority of claims a year in advance of the award ending.

The criteria against which you are being assessed against is exactly the same as before , you need to decide whether your ability to complete each of the PIP activities has changed since you were last assessed.
