Support Group for another 2 years on re-assessment

Just a quick post to say a big thank you for the guides which once again proved so vital in helping me complete my latest ESA re-assessment form and attending F2F. Had the decision through and a huge relief to know I'm in the Support Group for another 2 years as I'm nearly always housebound and any other outcome would have been disastrous for me. It's an absolute nightmare filling in the form on time even though I use the electronic version because there is just so much to write. I was required to attend F2F and it was uncertain I'd be able to attend at all as was very sick the morning beforehand. Fortunately I did get there and the lady assessing me was extremely kind and helpful (they do exist!). She told me I wouldn't have been called in in the first place as I'm already in the Support Group but because my previous GP hadn't filled in the form they sent him properly. Fortunately she had enough information from MY well completed form that she didn't need to keep me in for long. She even said I should consider claiming PIP (I have thought about it before as my health-related costs are high but I struggle so much with just the ESA process!).

Without the help of the guides I doubt I would have any idea how to give the most accurate information possible which is so crucial so Thank You once again. Also a big Thank You to Gordon on the forums for his advice on my posts.

Best of luck to everyone here suffering with health issues with your own claims and I sincerely hope you too encounter people with kindness and compassion in navigating this all too often inhumane benefits system. :)
