Well, I had my home assessment 4 weeks ago with a Capita HCP - at 3 days notice. She arrived late having been unable to find my house, fair enough given where I live, and straight away informed me that we had only 40 minutes before she had to move on. Then followed a rapid-fire Q&A session; to say I wasn't optimistic would be an understatement.
Anyway, I studied this site's invaluable info on MRs and tribunals, ready for the brown envelope, which arrived today. So I made a coffee and sat down, opened the letter, read it 4 times, pinched myself and made another coffee. I have been awarded more than I was getting with DLA!
The report was totally fair, including things that I had thought barely worth mentioning and would probably not have were it not for what I have read here; thank you all so much for the facts and advice, this site is worth many, many times the subscription.
