I have received my PIP assessment date from Capita. On my form I specifically asked for a home visit due to my condition and also explain that dates I am not available due to the school holidays and having to find childcare.
Letter has come and I’ve got to visit the centre and it is in the school holidays.
Was my form not read?

I'm afraid they won't accept your word that you need a home assessment, you will need up to date medical evidence, for example a letter from your GP. Also the letter must be unambiguous about your ability to attend, so any suggestion that there are circumstances where you might be able to attend will undermine the letter.

Thank you Gordon. I called today and thought I'd give it a go and surprisingly CAPITA were very helpful and offered me a home visit. They're coming Thursday.
