Hi my husband successfully appealed his ESS four years ago and now also is on high rates of pip. But we have had a letter informing us he will be assessed in 20 days. We have not had to complete any forms and my husband mental state is taking a nose dive. It this usual pleSe help me I have MS and the stress. Is making me ill and I have to work !!!!

Hi I have just rang the 0800 you supplied and was told we completed the in 2016 and have now arranged this assessment! Almost 2 years later .

Was a Decision made in 2016 using that form?

Either way I think you should consider asking for the assessment to be postponed to allow you to complete an ESA50 at no fault to you.

If you can print it then you can download a copy

Failing that you could write a letter, but keep it in the same format as the ESA50.

Please make sure that you use the latest Claim guides as there will have been changes to the DWP guidance since you were last assessed.

Hi Gordon
They said we completed the esa form in 2016 and as we requested a home visit it had taken a while to strange. How can they make a decision with out of date details. My husbands colitis is much worse .
