They said we completed the esa form in 2016 and as we requested a home visit it had taken a while to strange. How can they make a decision with out of date details. My husbands colitis is much worse .

I agree, they cannot make a valid Decision on information that is this old.

As I said, contact them!

Thank you Gordon, I hate having to beg the Dwp it’s just one never ending nightmare. THe lost ESA 6 years shoot took 14 months to go to tribunal the DWP lost & ESA was Re-instated but my husbands mental health deteriorated . Then he lost PIP again it took almost 1 year to go to tribunal and he was put back on PIP high rate.
I’ll call them tomorrow & try to keep my husband on an even keel.

It's not the DWP that you need to contact, at least not in the first case, you need to phone the Health Advisory Service / CHDA / Maximus. It's only if they refuse that you should contact the DWP and possible your MP.

Hi Gordon
I have spoken to Health Advisory & was told DWP is aware the paperwork is out of date and the visit can not be rebooked as there is a long wait. I told her a lot has changed over the last 2 years and it would take an hour to go through the changes and I am not happy to put my husband through this as he finds all these assessments very Harrow. I told her I would call the Sep myself, at this point she said she was only an administrator and r would speak to her manager and get back to me later today as they will have to ask DWP if this was ok , I await their reply
