While the help in form filling on this site is second to none and greatly appreciated, I feel there is little advise around for the PIP mandatory stage and onward, Given the tip of the iceberg examples I put in my previous message to Lynn, are you suggesting that my wife and I should not be livid and should not have complained about some glorified toe nail clipper asking me questions (that are fully covered in the PIP form) and totally dis regarding my answers and putting in his lies instead of what I ACTUALLY said or lying about the physical saying that I, riddled with arthritis, "has full range of movement" when I can barely wipe my own you know what? I 'm sorry Gordon but couple that with the down right nasty insulting decision makers letter then we saw no alternative but to compile a response to the HP's report and its resulting DM's disgustingly toned letter. Yes we ripped them to shreds and deservedly so. You say the tribunal takes little notice of the HP's assessment, but if we don't challenge this pack of lies then surely the tribunal are entitled to think we agree with it aren't they? .........well I cannot and never will accept a total stranger compiling a report on me effectually calling me a liar, and dismissing my medical evidence. It is a great pity these so called Health Professionals are not bound by the Bond Solon law, we'd see how willing they were to lie in reports and cause people loss then wouldn't we?
Anyway, my wife is more devastated than I am that we are not at this stage going to tribunal and facing a probable second F2F I cannot believe that they would dare to send me to see the same HP! who incidentally we have sent a complaint into the HCPC about. If that happened I reckon the F2F would last about 60 seconds!. I fully expect to be lied about again, after all, this is what they are trained to do. We will record it and make it as difficult for him/her as we can but at the second mandatory stage we will tell them nothing more than we disagree with the inaccurate report and leave it at that........then at tribunal stage bring the big guns out:laugh:

I have moved your post to it's own topic, it is not failed on Lynn to continue your discussion in her topic.

To be clear, I am not saying that you should ignore the contents of the assessment report, it is usually important to deal with the issues raised, but the appeal panel will be looking at everything from scratch and if nothing else they will be looking at all of the evidence with equal balance, unlike the Decisin Maker who has a clear bias for the assessor's report.

However, it is important to understand that the panel will only make an award by the claimant showing that they meet the criteria for one! My eperience from over seven years as a Moderator, is that the vast majorit of claimants who have to go to appeal have failed to explain their problems properly.

This could be because they have tried to bring the Descriptors to their problems rather than there problems to the conditions, they have misunderstood the Descriptors or have failed to meet all of the requirements needed to score, or they have simply failed to explain their problems in sufficient detail.
