Gordon Re: having my assessment recorded. A little bit thick here I've looked at the template in the Members section regarding this, I've added a snippet from that said guide below.

Do I need to send and adjust the whole A2 template letter as shown in the guide ie to Maximus or DWP. I believe it's the former then tweak it and add I wish to use my recording equipment deviceand tell them what the make etc it is, as we know mines better than theirs lol. Cheers Gordon-buddy

I wish to have my work capability face-to-face assessment recorded and I understand that this will be done by Maximus using dual recording facilities and at no cost to me.

I'm having one of those can't understand brain freeze days. Not sure if it's the whole guide or in part.

Thanks.

I would write something along the lines of;

I wish to have my work capability face-to-face assessment recorded and I understand that this will be done by Maximus using dual recording facilities and at no cost to me.

In addition to your recording the assessment I wish to do this myself. I will supply the equipment, a machine name and will make two simultaneous recording direct to CD, one of which will be provided to the assessor at the end of the interview.

Some things to think about. A standard CD will hold 80 minutes of CD quality audio, a voice recording won't require this less of detail but check that your machine can use a lower setting so that if the interview takes longer than this that you are covered.

Secondly, I've only just thought of this, your bringing this machine (physically) and setting it up (mentally) may be considered as part of the assessment, are you OK for this to happen.

I had mine recorded 10 days ago, they give you a copy but it is a cassette and won't play at home as its protected.
Another thought! It took two months to put the face to face in place due to setting up of equipment.

Thanks Gordon I knew I could count on you that sums it up niclely. happy.....

On the last part you wrote (I've highlighted) it won't be an issue I will get my support worker to set it up, it's only a case of plugging it in, putting 3 sealed CDs in press the record and that's it... And now as it's been unplugged a few days and retested it holds the time and date also, so know messing there either.

In the case of how many CDs needed I will be prepared and take 9 with me I know my recorder is one professional quality and No adjustments can be made..

Here is the metadata backup date stamp. One of the test I did as you can see it's all there.

(Neal 9103 triple Cd recorder. sn190823_20180213T100345_000025Not Configuredsn1908232018-02-13T10:02:482018-02-13T10:02:48 Media Inserted Recording identification sn190823_20180213T100345_000025 allocated 2018-02-13T10:03:45 Recording begins 2018-02-13T10:43:09 Recording ends 2018-02-13T10:43:28 Recording begins 2018-02-13T10:44:01 Recording ends)

Also to note Gordon I have acquired another machine it's a Neal 7000 Dual cassette tape one too. So more backup But may never need them.

It's on its way to me,

Tammy.

Thanks for the tip I would be able to hear it if they used their recorder it maybe just blank I don't trust them that's why I will use my recording equipment end of. Not worried how long the assessment takes I just don't want their lies just the truth.

I'm one that will go to any lengths to gain that. I maybe disabled but not dead yet until then I will fight hard for what's right.

Hiya Gordon just a quick ask?

Do I send the above request separate from the ESA50 in a different encolope recorded (of course) with NIN and name stated on it to either Maximus or DWP. I take it would be the Maximus.

Thanks.
