Hello
I am due to go to my appeal on Friday and have argued my case for pip under the safety and supervision rule - I have various types of epileptic seizures which are not drug controlled and can come out of the blue without warning, including drop seizures in which I have injured myself. Reading what your site has written under the safety and supervision I am aware there are things I have not mentioned in my pip and want to know whether it is worth mentioning them, as they would not have occurred to me. I have two grandchildren, now ages six and nine. I have never been able to take them out because of the unpredictability of my seizures
which would have put both myself and them at risk. My daughter admits she has not wanted to go out with just me and her children as if I were to have a seizure where I was falling she would want to help me and take care of her children and would not be able to do both. Do I mention this Would it be helpful for her to put something in writing. I also had a seizure in my building society branch recently (drop seizure) when paying in some money. Once I came round from the seizure the branch had to re-access my money as I could have lost it and have now said that I can go to the counter within that branch because of my epilepsy rather than use the self serve machines. Is this worth mentioning. Is it worth having any further written evidence or will that just irritate the people making the decision . Thank you for your help Jane

If your hearng is on Friday then it is really too late to submit any significant evidence for the hearing, you could take a page on the day but no more.

The issues you mention testify to the degree to which yourr seizures effect you but are not related to the PIP activities, so I think they are things to mention at the hearing rather than present as formal evidence, they will probablt have more effect that way.
