ISA Report can you help was created by Roxy raver
Hi
Could you possibly explain some of the comments on my ISA report received by myself on 6th Feb I haven't had the decision yet due any day.
Also that during the examinations quote " declined to crouch to floor and stand up again "
"Declined to bend forward to reach down the floor " I didn't decline I said I was unable to because of what's wrong with me !
Surely the word declined is the same as refused !? However it doesn't say
Also can you explain what this means on the report at the end it says :
"It is likely that the functional restriction identified in this report will be present at the recommended point of review "
Answer given marked as Yes. What does this mean ?
Also the report states " based on the claimants likely future circumstances it would be appropriate to review the claim in 18 months ?"
Does that mean I will get a short award ? If any ?
Be assessed like this all over again in 18months or less ?
I previously had a life DLA award for middle care and high mobility.
apologies for the many questions but hope you can advise /answer.
Feeling so overwhelmed with the stress and waiting on my decision.

Can't really comment on declined vs refused.
The functional restrictions is about whether your current level of disability will be at least the same at the nest assessment.
Yes, they are recommending a review in 18 months.

Ok thank you is that likely then if and a big if I get PIP I will face another F2F assessment in 18 months ?

Ok will do just wondered do you think the recommended 18 month review reflects a decision if I get PIP that it will only be for 18 months ?

The DM usually follows the recommendation but they are not bound by it.
