Hi Dixi thank you for that, I don't have an adapted car, which also seems to be a reason for not getting my higher rate of PIp again. Obviously i would never drive if I thought I was going to be a danger to anyone, I only ever drive a mile or so to the doctors when I really have to. they seem obsessed with my driving on the report, I was asked do you drive and said yes, but they never asked if it was adapted or manual drive.or how often or how long a journey I went on. surely lots of disabled people drive, i know some who drive hundreds of miles most weeks. just don't want to lose my licence.

There is a £1000 fine for not informing the DVLA of any condition that may affect driving. Your Doctor should be able to advise on your Driving ability. It also may affect the insurance on your car if you haven't told the DVLA anything.
