Hi
sent my mandatory reconsideration together with considerable medical evidence by due date 15th Feb, and paid for recorded delivery and tracking. It was received by the date.
Received letter today, stating NO Change and that My Info letter was late getting to them.
I really am feeling totally distraught. As the evidence is there!
Just phoned and spoke to someone on telephone line, who passed me to their supervisor. They listened and said it was received by post room here, and can see it was a lot of information. The PIP letter to me with absolutely no change and saying I was late, is dated the same date 15 February!
What now, trust it will be looked at again? This is what the lady told me she would get to happen. And if heard nothing after 10 days call again?
Does this sound about right!? I feel I am going mad!
Thank you

The DWP will do a second MR if they have missed evidence sent by the claimant, you'll have to wait a couple of weeks to hear.

Thank you Gordon,
Can DWP change decision on medical info sent? At second Mandatory reconsideration? or does it have to be health professional?

They can but it will depend on the evidence, the DWP have no in-house medical expertise so if the evidence is particularly detailed or requires medical knowledge to understand it then the DM will refer it back to the Assessment Provider for their opinion.
