What benefit are you receiving at the moment?

The Severe Disability Premium is payable with both Income Related JSA or ESA, however, it is not paid automatically.

You need to be living alone or considered to be living alone and no one must be receiving Carers Allowance against you PIP claim.

To apply for the Premium you need to contact the DWP office dealing with your ESA or JSA and ask for an IS10 form to be sent, it may be possible to complete the form while you are on the phone, it captures information about living arrangements.

Hi ,sorry my thread wasn't too clear.they sent me the IS10 form. About 5 weeks ago and posted it the same day.but a fair amount of people posting about not been able to get SDP untill after the outcome of the appeal.but I found out today that they will start paying it to me and backdating it so happy days.but thank s Gordon.waiting patiently for my appeal hearing but getting pip has certainly cushioned the mental anguish this causes.anyone going through the appeal process hang in there and best of luck to all.may common sense prevail.
